  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 1 (14-ounce) round brie
  • Apple wedges, for serving
  • Pear wedges, for serving
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

In a small bowl stir together the sugar, nuts, and brandy. Cover and chill for at least 24 hours or up to 1 week.

This was amazing and easy and the hit of the Holiday and cocktail parties where I served it. Don't change a thing and just enjoy!!! BTW, if you didn't think ahead enough to let the nuts sit overnight, it's not a huge deal. The first time I made it they sat for about an hour or so and it still came out amazing!!! I used pecans and we found it was best on pears. Although all the apples, pears and crackers were used up. You just can't go wrong with this one!

This preparation for Brie is so simple ....yet so very delicious! There's something magical that happens when the brandy, brown sugar & macadamia nuts blend flavors overnight. I love to serve this with honeycrisp apple slices.
