My guests & I loved this! Baked the cheese in a small casserole dish. Accidentally over cooked it and what a wonderful mistake! The cheese was soft & gooey with the topping all over every bite. Made it so much easier to put it on a cracker without worrying about the outer part of the cheese. I will be making this dish often!

This was delicious and simple. However, following the instructions, the brie was still a little cold in the center and the sugar got a little overcooked. Next time I will do it at a little lower temperature and do the brie for a bit longer before I put the nuts on top.

Love, love, love this recipe! Make it every holiday. I double the topping recipe for the large brie round. Never seems to be too much. I used Apricot Brandy and it adds a bit of a twist! Everyone wants this recipe so i bring it with me when i take the recipe out!

Simple, elegant, a great appetizer to take to a party.
I did not let the sugar/nuts/alcohol mixture sit overnight, and it was just grand. Did not have brandy; used a fairly fine bourbon. It was eaten to the last morsel.

YUMMY! I made this on Thanksgiving as an appetizer while we cooked. We couldn't get enough! I used a very large brie and doubles the recipe, because there were several of us cooking and it works great as a dessert too! I also used red wine (Pinot Noir and it was fabulous! Triscuit triangles and apples are great dippers. I have made this five times since. It is so simple and a major crowd pleaser! I must try!

I made this for a party this past Christmas, and it was SO GOOD! A lot of people asked for the recipe. I as well did not have brandy, so I used Chivas Regal Scotch and it was awesome!

Made this last night and it was a huge hit. Making it again tonight. I didn't have any brandy on hand so I used some Captain Morgan from the ole flask. A keeper for sure!!!

This brie is outrageously good and every time I make it someone asks for the recipe. If you don't have pecans handy you can use walnuts or macadamia nuts. I usually serve it with apples, asian pears and buttery crackers.
