I love all things sweet & spicy!
Great recipe Paula, thank you! I made the Sweet and Spicy Coleslaw with Ojai Jalapeno Jelly & it was divine!
The cumin & the Pepper Jelly add a nice, unique touch.
Now I'm going to try making it with a Napa cabbage & Ojai Habanero Jelly!

My husband and I watched Paula and Bobby prepare this dish one Saturday morning on the Food Network. We both looked at each other and said yum. I made it that night and we were not disappointed. The flavors blend well together, love the combination of sweet and spicy. Tip: The only store in this area that carried the jalapeño pepper jelly was Publix.

This is a delicious side dish with fish, pork....whaqtever you decide! I used red pepper jelly and it was unbelievably good. Thanks, Paula for a great cole slaw recipe.

Loved it. Next time I will probably just not julienne the apples, but cut into smaller bite-sized pieces. It's hard to feel guilty eating this slaw, as there is not much to make it unhealthy. Good flavors, and love that it's a great alternative to traditional slaw.

My husband hates coleslaw but I told him to give this different receipe a try and he LOVED it.. cant wait for me to make it again.. I followed the receipe exact and it was perfect and delicious. The little touch of spicy flavor of the pepper jelly with the tart sliced apples and crunch of the pumpkin seeds was very good and refreshing.

I will never make coleslaw by any other recipe. The bright taste of the cilantro with the smokey flavor of the cumin, yum! The flavors were wonderful. It is a party in the mouth.

Delicious, my family loved it.. So many wonderful flavors that all get along so well. Nice texture, the pumpkins seeds add one last crunch. Has a subtle slow burn to it, not too spicy. This will be saved in my favorites.

I love the idea of coleslaw without mayo! This has great flavors - I like the spicy and sweet combination. It is totally not disgusting. But you should toast the pumpkin seeds before tossing them in.
