Pretty damn good. Will agree that a more heat wouldn't hurt. I put in some cayenne, but couldn't really taste it. Will add more the next time.

I've made these several times and my family can never get enough! Instead if doing them in the oven, I put them on bamboo skewers and set them in a grille basket with a top so I can flip them all at once. Cook them on a med high grille until the bacon is just crispy and they are delicious! For a little kick add a little cayenne pepper to the dredge.

I've made this recipe several times. I made it once again last night for the super bowl and everyone LOVED these. I like a little more heat, so I add a couple pinches of cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic powder to the dry brown sugar rub. Then I use the leftover juice from the pan as a nice little dipping sauce. I also broil them for a minute or two because I love the bacon to be a little extra crispy. This recipe is awesome on beef or shrimp too!

I fixed these for the superbowl party we went to and everybody loved them... They were a hit... I fixed a few without the bacon and they were delicious, too. Paula you've done it again... Don't stop on what you're doing!!!!

When I first tried this recipe several years ago the family went crazy over it. I have made this recipe a Christmas tradition ever since, the grandkids insist on it, along with whenever I can think of an excuse to make them. Everyone I have passed this recipe on to have absolutely raved about it. What more can I say? Paula thanks so much, I would not alter this recipe one iota!!
