This was very fun to make. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't come out very good, but I was wrong! This is a very simple and fool-proof recipe and comes out smoky and sweet -- a perfect combo! Would definitely make this again!

Great appetizer. We made this with a salad for dinner - really yummy. Even the picky eaters like it. I baked for the time recommended then added 5 minutes under the broiler to crisp up the bacon and (we use a pretty thick bacon caramelize the brown sugar a little bit, just keep a close eye so they do not burn!

Delicious! The bacon wasn't crispy since I didnt bake it on a rack so next time I will. I may use turkey bacon instead too.

Sooo good! Can't wait to make them as an appetizer for our Labor day BBQ. I don't have a broiler pan so I had to lay them flat on a baking sheet. I had to cook them an extra five minutes so that the bacon was nice and crispy :

Well,......let me tell you, this is one of the best appetizers I have ever made! One change I made was I used cayenne pepper instead of the chili powder. We like things spicy so this was a great change. I thought it was like a gourmet chicken wing. You have the chicken, the smoky from the bacon, the sweet from the brown sugar and the kick from the cayenne. Try it, and you can adjust the heat.

This recipe is AMAZING! I made this the other night for my boyfriend and I and we JUST finished the leftovers! Amazing, AMAZING! My only thing is that if you do like it spicier you definitely have to add more chili powder. Ours kind of tasted like the glaze you would put on a ham; I think next time i'll add more spice to change it up some. The bacon does leave a bit of grease behind but that's expected. It is amazing nonetheless!

This recipe is WONDERFUL. I made these for a baby shower and they were a big hit. I did do it a little differently though. I lightly dipped the bacon-wrapped chicken in pineapple juice before dipping it in the brown sugar mixture..mmm mmmm mmmm !!!!!

Just 3 words...Fa, bul, ous! These were really great. I wanted to serve a hot appetizer for Thanksgiving this year, and I had remembered seeing these on an episode. I hadn't tasted them before serving them, but when I returned to the dish, they were gone. I made some the next day because my children said that they were so good. I have now made them 3 days in a row for the children, and finally got to taste them...awesome! I did reduce the chili powder to just one tablespoon because I didn't want them to hot for the kids, but otherwise they were so delicious. Also, at the suggestion of my youngest son, he said that I should drizzle the sauce when I platted them, on the pieces as well as on the actual platter, which was a really good touch. A chef in the making.
