I enjoyed them but my family did not; too sweet and too much orange flavoring. Would do over but w/o the orange and half the sugar!

I do catering in Waterloo,Iowa and we made 300 Paula's Sweet Potato Balls today, first we tested 6 with the mini marshmallows and 6 with the big marshmallows, even that we put less time with the mini ones, when we cut them the marshmallows were melted and hide, but with the big marshmallows were perfect even the one that open a little were wonderful, is like lava cake, all the filling was coming smooth and beautiful.I highly recomend, no problems even with big cuantities.
Bravo Paula, you are The Best

I had to try these for our family Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been a big sweet potato fan, but this recipe has changed my mind. My daughter really loved them. She ended up finishing the rest. My grandmother liked them too. And she's not the type of person who likes to try new things.

This is really good if you like sweet potato/yams, if you don't want it too sweet use half the sugar. We also rolled it in chopped pecans instead of coconut, it was delish!

I love all of Paula's recipes, but for some reason I was not able to get these ball firm. Maybe I did something wrong, but my family and I just scooped them with a spoon. Still Yummy.
