These are very good although I made one change in the recipe. Since I do not like coconut I rolled the balls in the mixture of sugar and cinnamon with pecan pieces in it. It was a bit hit at Thanksgiving dinner.

I gave two stars because these tasted very good, but they feel apart quickly and the texture was too soft. I kept a close eye on them like the recipe said, but they pretty much exploded after 8 minutes.

This was a very different twist on sweet potatoes. They were so easy to make and everyone loved them. My brother in law that has never ate a sweet potato in his life even tried them and he said I did a very good job and that they were very good, especially for someone who has never ate them before. 5 stars Paula!! My mother and mother in law have me hooked on watching you and using your recipes. Thank you so much!!

This dish was well received by men, women and children. It will be on our list for many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Made for a great change. Better than just plain sweet potatoes. Also works great with canned sweet potatoes.

We loved the idea of these! Unfortunately, they didn't hold their shape at all and were basically piles of mush. The orange flavor was overwhelming. I think we'll stick to the classic yams with marshmallows on top.

I made these for Thanksgiving...Picture perfect...I cooked the sweet potatos the day before so they were ready to use...I also sprayed my hands with Pam ...no sticking that way...the colder the potato..the easier to roll...I may try to make these smaller using mini marshmallows as the big mallows make 'em big!! A friend who doesnt like sweet potatos thought they were delicious...I also did not add the sugar to the coconut mixture as it was all sweet enuf'...I will make em again..

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and I thought I would be making it all by myself...I was wrong. You can't possibly make the ball and roll it in the coconut mixture by yourself. Your hands will look like the finished recipe. :o I made the ball, passed them to my husband and he rolled them in coconut. We made 12 balls and they are big!
