I fixed these and found the balls did not hold up when I put them in the serving dish and turned into a pile - rather than balls I wanted. Next time I'll put them in ramikins - because they really tasted good.

Following Paula recipe the sweet potato
was too moist to form into balls. The
recipe might give more information on
baking the balls. The best I could get
was to mound them but in baking them
they flatten out. The taste was fine
but to have had them in the shape of a
ball with the marshmello as a surprise
inside would have made the dish.

Easy to make. I thought I cooked the sweet potatoes too long. Were a little loose but did hold together well. Took it to Thanks giving dinner and it was the hit of the dinner. Everyone wanted the recipe.

This is a great recipe. However, I was in a hurry and couldn't take time to make the balls so I just layered - sweet potato mixture, marshmellows, sweet potato mixture and coconut on top. Turned out a winner!

Our family met for Thanksgiving. As always we try new recipies whenever a large group gathers. Even the young ones loved the sweetpotato balls, they weren't sure what they were, but the toasted coconut made them try anyway. We adults that had seen your show laughed as we counted the number that had "burst" as warned by Paula. Thank you for another delicious way to enjoy sweet potatos .

This recipe was very easy and a great twist on the traditional candied sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving. It was a hit with all if my guests and I will definitely be making them again for Christmas dinner.

Paula's recipe was easy to follow and added a familiar but better taste to the Thanksgiving table. I will cook this again even without a holiday.
