    Unfortunately, I tried this recipe before reading the reviews and without following my instincts that told me the Baking Powder was a misprint. They turned out awful.

    The first time I made these and followed the posted recipe they came out terrible. Then I made them again this time omitting the baking powder (you don't need it when using self rising flour and they came out great.

    I am only 15 and this recipie was by far the best tasting and one of the easiest to make. It was a definite hit with my family &&Paula Deen is truly an original, and she is who i look up to in the culinary world. I love this reicpie!

    I thought this was very, very good. Thank god I read the reviews first and discovered not to used the 4 tablespoons of baking powder. I just used the self rising flour and it turned out great. Well,...I burnt the bottoms a little, but next time I'll do better!

    i read the reviews before i made this and i used all purpose flour and 2 tsp of baking powder and i think it turned out very well, it was awesome with the honey butter, together they tasted sweet, my husband said it was like candy. i will probably make it again

    I followed the recipe for the sweet potato biscuits and they didn't rise. they looked like cookies instead, and they didn't have to much flavor. Maybe something needs to be adjusted.
