I used cubed steak instead of round steak. My guys ate it up.

Really like this easy recipe. I also used beef broth instead of water and added extra garlic and a few shakes of crushed red peppers. We prefer a little spice. Served with rice and crusty bread. Yum!

This is a great recipe. A new family favorite. I've shared it on Facebook so more can enjoy it as much as my family did. Don't be afraid 2 add additional seasoning. I always put my own spin on recipes. Thanks Paula Deen.

I saw this on Paual's show and am always looking for a new beef recipe as my husband is a big beef fan. I followed this recipe almost to a T, and it was very good. Only change I made was to use one can of beef broth instead of the water as many others have suggested.
I didn't use a slow cooker for it, just a dutch oven on the stove top and it came out perfectly. I did have the butcher run the meat through the cuber as the recipe suggested, and I think that really made the difference in the meat being tender. For only cooking for 1 1/2 hours on a stove top, I was afraid the meat would be like shoe leather but it was very tender. Served it over rice with roasted brocolli on the side. A good, quick and easy dinner-great addition to the recipe box.

Very similar to the way my mom taught me to make it. Only difference is we use stewed tomatos. Always one of my favorites.
