I MADE THIS DISH YEASTERDAY. MY FAMILY WENT NUTS OVER THIS. THEY COULD NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT. THE MEAT WAS SO TENDER, ALL I ADDED WAS 1 BEEF BOUILLION CUBE. OTHERWISE, I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING. THIS IS A KEEPER. GOOD JOB, PAULA! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

IWhen we had dinner it took me back to when I was a little girl and Mother's cooking. It tasted just like hers only I think she put potatoes and carrots in hers. Thank you Paula for a very special memory of Mo9ther.

I had company last night and made this dish, but I used my crock pot. It was wonderful. Very flavorable and tender. My husband (who says he is an expert on swiss steak and our friends just loved it. It is going to become a regular for us. Thanks Paula...........

I have tried making all kinds of swiss steak over the 36 yrs. of cooking and this was the best one ever. My husband and I loved it very much. Will definately make it more often.

Made this in a slow cooker (7 hours on low. The beef was vrey tender but the taste was pretty bland. Probably won't do this again.

There was no flavor to this recipe. I've had better frozen meals. This has to be one of the worst recipes I have ever made. In looking at the previous reviews, almost everyone had doctored this recipe. This is a disgrace and this recipe should be remoed from Food Network. What a waste of time!

anyone who knows slow-southern-cooking knows that you got it in the bag... the negative ratiings you got from this recipe came from people who don't know how to take directions, reseason, and/or improvise (muchless cook altogether, so don't sweat it. You Go, Girl!

I just love this recipe! I make it about once a month, usually with potatoes or couscous. Always tender! I cook it a little longer than directed to thicken the broth, but it's not necessary for it to taste delicious.

This dish was so easy and Yummy! I add red pepper flakes and a large pack of fresh mushrooms and served it over mashed taters. Yummy.
