This was the best Swiss Steak I have ever had. I first saw it on the show then went to the site and printed the recipe. It was great and my kids loved it also. Thank you Food Network. I get so tired of makeing the same dishes all the time it's nice to make something different.

This is wonderful and so easy to make. Just mix it up toss in the crock pot and go. Instead of water I used beef broth and wine. I also used canned tomatoes with garlic and oregano. Pleanty of Flavor. I also added some mushrooms for additonal flavor and nutrition. So easy and so tender. make sure you ask the meat dept. to run your meat through the tenderizer or it will be tough!
This will surly make a great family dinner!

My family loves the recepie. I have made it about 3 times now. The only thing I did diffrently was add a bit more spices like garlic and paprika to meat and sauce.

I made this yesterday in my slow cooker. I cooked it on low for 8 hours. The meat was so tender you didn't even need a knife! My husband and I were battling over the leftovers for lunch today!! Great flavor and so easy. I think the key is getting tenderized round steak and not skimping on seasoning it. Thanks again, Paula.
