I couldn't believe how great this tasted. I used chicken stock instead of water. This one is definitely a winner.

It's not confusing if you read the WORDS. Ie-Taco Chili mix vs. Taco Seasoning mix. It is obvious that the Taco Chili mix is what is being made from the taco seasoning mix (+ other ingredients. And that Taco Chili mix is used to make the (*Drum Roll* Taco Chili!!!

I love Paula, but this is a confusing recipe. Didn't realize the taco chili mix was a gift, I thaught it was part of the recipe. Secondly, in putting the taco chili together it calls for the taco chili mix packet, it the the first part of the recipe?? or is it a packet were suppose to get from the store?? Finally in the picture it looks like she is using sour cream and green onions but she isn't asking for it in the recipe under ingrediants.

Great balance of flavors. Instead of soaking the beans, I used a 16 oz can of pinto beans (drained and rinsed.
