I am not a great cook by any means - this was so easy and it tasted amazing! My son is so picky - and he ate a HUGE bowl! I am totally making this again! LOVED it!

Paula you have done it again! This is the easiest, most delicious and savory soup! I made this for my employees during a very busy week, and they loved it. Everyone of them raved about how delicious it was. I wanted to take credit for it, but honey YOU deserve all the credit!

Loved this! A great go-to recipe for a crowd. Made it for bunko ladies and also for a bunch of college girls staying over. Everyone wanted the recipe! So EASY when you mostly open cans!

Buttercup - so it doesn't float like soup - BUT in the crockpot it was great. Makes A LOT! I'm taking it to a beach potluck. Also adding the green onions and sour cream.

PS: I had some left over. so I used it for quesidillas. Adding a Mexican Mix cheese on bottom.
They were great. Didn't waste a bit. Janet

This soup is so easy to make--after you brown your ground beef and onions, you just start opening cans! Very low-fat, depending on the ground beef you use. I suspect ground turkey or ground chicken would work just as well. The soup is so flavorful, and better the second day! I will difinitely make this again!

Made this last night. Was great! I agree with other reviews, this is not really a soup, but more like a chili. Made it nearly exactly like the recipe with the following changes: I used two large onions when I browned the ground beef and added plenty of garlic (personal taste. I cooked it in the crockpot and the last hour, I turned it up to high and removed the lid. It thickened up really nicely. I didn't add the green onions to the crockpot and reserved them for topping so they'd stay crunchy.I also added more corn. I served it over Frito's corn chips and topped with sour cream, cheese, green onion, avocado. Kids and hubby loved it, as did I! Looks like we have three more meals out of this recipe. I was going to freeze it, but the kids asked me not too. . . because they wanted some for lunch today. Really unheard of in my house. They normally don't want the same thing two days in a row. Definitely going in my keeper file!
