Excellent! I do think she means tortilla chips not corn chips.I took it to the American Legion and got rave reviews. Thanks Paula!

Great recipe! I substituted with black beans, and served with black olives, avocados, cheese, and sour cream. If I don't have corn chips I use tortilla chips. I also cut the recipe down about half to serve 6.

OMG this soup is the bomb! Served it with a dollop of sour cream & taquitos. Definitely a keeper.

I believe I would rename this Mexican Chili or something like that. My husband was very skeptical about this recipe but it turned out that he absolutely loved it! The only thing I did differently was add a little garlic powder and pepper to the beef and onion mixture before adding the veggies and beans in...also I did drain most of the liquid out of the beans . Delicious!

Everyone who tries this, loves it. Usually I do not add the olives, but this time I did. They are actually pretty good in there. I usually stock all the items for this soup in my pantry, so the only thing I needed to pick up at the store was the hamburger.

Very tasty and easy to make. The flavors were very bright although I cooked in slow cooker for 8 hours.

Paula, Paula, Paula ...our taste buds did the happy dance tonight. Run do not walk to your supermarkets for these ingredients. Take a few minutes to put it together. Crock it. Sit back, go to work, to school, or go shopping and come home to the wonderful aromas that will fill your homes. We had it tonight in bread bowls. Enjoy it tonight, and be sure to share quickly or you will eat it all yourself.
