    boring

This is such a typical Deen recipe... dated, boring and with minimal taste. This is a basic foundation to build from.

Great, i won't buy tartar sause again!

I was in a pinch, got on line and found a quick recipe; I substituted miracle whip for mayonnaise, used kosher dills and some... juice to taste. Followed the rest of the recipe, but after hearing some of the other opptions of lemon juice or lemon zest and parsley; i'll try that too next time. My husband doesn't like salmon but he ate it all with that tartar sause. A friend we had over for dinner that night told his wife she needed to get the recipe it was the best tartar sause he had ever tasted. My coment was "Paula Dean nver lets ya down!"Read more

    Good and simple recipe

This was a very good basic recipe for tartar sauce. I "enhanced" it a bit by adding some parsley, lemon juice, and about 2... tablespoons of pickle juice. I was very pleased with the outcome. Read more
