This is the best tartar sauce I have ever eaten. All those green onions give it a fresh taste. I use Hellmann's mayo.

My husband loved it on a fish sandwich w/xtra mayo and melted cheddar. We enjoyed it just the way Paula made it. Thanks.

It is a good basic recipe and definitely beats the store-bought. I added some fresh lemon juice, fresh parsley and two tablespoons of capers. YUM-SCUM! Very Tasty.

This is such a typical Deen recipe... dated, boring and with minimal taste. This is a basic foundation to build from.

i detest miracle whip and sweet stuff in my food, so it took me forever to find a recipe that called for just MAYO! it is perfect in every way!

I was in a pinch, got on line and found a quick recipe; I substituted miracle whip for mayonnaise, used kosher dills and some juice to taste. Followed the rest of the recipe, but after hearing some of the other opptions of lemon juice or lemon zest and parsley; i'll try that too next time. My husband doesn't like salmon but he ate it all with that tartar sause. A friend we had over for dinner that night told his wife she needed to get the recipe it was the best tartar sause he had ever tasted. My coment was "Paula Dean nver lets ya down!"
