This was the best brisket I have ever made or bought. Didn't like the slaw, but the brisket made up for it!

You've done it again, Paula! I've made this twice and it was a hit both times! I am a native Texan and it hit the "southern" spot! I slow roasted it in the oven at 190 for 6 hours...perfection! Thank you for another great recipe!

Paula, I watch you everyday! I love your Georgian accent. My husband and I smoked a brisket for the holidays, and used this recipe....The meat was tender, but too salty for us...For those that have to watcch their salt, we suggest they cut the salt in half.

I am from Texas and this is fabulous. Cooking specific temps and times are hard when there are so many different sizes of meat. Cook it low and long and it will be perfect. Do the test on the show about it bending from the center and it will be perfect!

Prep was simple, Brisket was wonderful, AFTER, I removed much of the salt from the outside.

I tried this Brisket recipe of Paula's twice and BOTH times it knocked my socks off! I've been wary of anything brisket that wasn't "corned". (I'm not a fraidy-cat...that's just a LOT of meat to cook with a new recipe. I'm very glad I hade the guts and Paula had the recipe!
