Delicious, tender, juicy melt in your mouth Brisket! Being originally from Texas, the flavors took me back home...

This was brisket perfection! Tender, juicy and seasoned just right. Ignore the rude reviewers below who haven't made this recipe and obviously don't know what they're talking about.

This is almost the exact same recipe that I use on my brisket and everyone who has eaten it says it's great. I do use a few other ingredients but those are super-secret : And 6 hours to 190 degrees is not out of the question. Low and slow is the key to barbecue (in my opinion. I've 'cued brisket for longer than 6 hours many times.

As a Texan, I'd like to apologize for the rudeness of the other reviewer from my state. Not all of us are mean people. Some of us just like to enjoy our barbecue in peace.

I may have just moved to Texas but I can cook like a native. What a great rub and this is the first brisket I ever fixed that was this tender.

I want to apologize for the clod who panned Paula. I happen to be from Texas and believe me Texans love her. She's the real deal. Don't judge Texans by that anonymous reviewer. Every recipe of Paula's that I hace tried is wonderful and I think she is wonderful. She's as real and down to earth as a person can get. You're the best Paula.
