I made this recipe and the sugar almost overloaded me and my family. I will probably make it again, but cut way back on the sugar. Waaaaay back.

Yes, I just made this over the weekend. Waaayy too sweet. If I ever make again, I will reduce sugar bit time. But don't you all agree, Paula's recipes are always too much of everything, butter, oil, sugar, etc., UGH!!!!

Made this puding for a picnic and it was gone in a flash. Instead of brandy I used Chamborg which has a raspberry flavor. Gooooooood !!!!!!!!

I made this last night. After using two cups of granulated sugar, it was already too sweet. I only crumbled a little of the brown sugar/ butter mix over the pudding and omitted the sauce entiresly. It was so sweet, we threw the whole thing out. Really disappointed.

I used splenda and it came out great. splenda doesn't work for the brandy sauce, had to use sugar, also i left out the pecans because I am allergic to them and i used just 1 mini bottle of brandy (50 ml, that was enough. another awesome Paula recipe.
