Thank you Paula, the beer-battered shrimp was a big hit with my grandson. It was his special day at Grandma's with all his favorites. It was easy and delicious. I'm sure this will be his request for now on. Mine too!!!!

I tried this on my jumbo shrimp and it was great! I lightly seasoned the batter with a cajun seasoning to give it a little kick. I tried this will onion rings, and pepper jack cheese and it did not fail me! thanks Paula-I am back in the kitchen again!

This was such an easy recipe and the batter produced a light and fluffy covering when the shrimp was deep fried. The flavor of the shrimp was simply scrumptiously delicious!

I let the batter sit for two hours and it came out really good. It had a bit of a funny taste and I'm thinking it's because I used a light beer.

This is my first frying task. It was tasty, but greasy.

This recipe was good if you like that kind of batter. I prefer a cornmeal batter. It has a good taste but I am lucky enough to get really fresh seafood and I think it takes away from the great taste of the shrimp. But, it was good and they came out nice.
