Really disappointed. Like another reviewer said, the batter is way thinner than what I saw when Paula made these on the show. Even though I added about 25% biscuit mix than the recipe called for and kept the amount of other ingredients the same, the batter was very thin and I ended up with cheese pancakes.

OMG! I just knew these were gonna be Delish!!! I didn't have any Jack cheese so I substituted three slices of Provolone cheese and a half cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. I put the cheddar an provolone through my salad shooter to shred the cheese an I added five sliced green onions. I brushed the tops of the biscuits before baking with melted butter and garlic salt. These went great with my crockpot beef stew!!! Cooking time had to be extended from 15 to 22 mins.

For everyone who keeps saying Paula uses the store mix for her biscuits, if you do a search for Paula Deen's cheese biscuits on here, you will find one that has an actually recipe to make the biscuits. Several recipes will come up, just search through them. One has an actual recipe. Enjoy.

Great! You need to use SHARP cheddar cheese y'all and if you like garlic, add about 1/2 tsp to the biscuit mix. I know several people commented about needing a recipe for biscuit mix. I used the following biscuit mix; I found it online. Try this and you'll never buy the boxed Bisquick mix again. Hope this helps!
Ingredients
6 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup vegetable shortening
Directions
Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times into a large bowl.
Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Store mixture in airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 months.
Use whenever your recipe calls for "Bisquick mix".

I used bisquick mix from the grocery store, to me they were ok. My family who loves bread, didn't to much like them, I guess the mix she used made a difference.
