I will make this again, however I would not add the cream cheese. This dish is very, very rich and I think that the cream cheese is too much. Also, I would recommend cooking it just a few minutes longer. It was a little too wet...

I made this for family that were visiting; everyone just loved it. My husband, who's my worst critic, thought it was great. That says a lot. We both love Paula Deen.

This is the best lasagna recipe I have made. It is a little pricey since you are using 7 different cheeses (swiss, cheddar, mozarella, guyere, cottage, cream, parmesan but, it is well worth it. I did use the starch and water mixture but I added it right before I added the ground beef and the consistency was perfect. I had also let it sit for about 40 minutes before serving for a party and it was the perfect firmness and temperature.

I made this for my boyfriend when he came back from Europe and he has been eating it since! My only advice is that it took me MUCH more prep. time, and I needed more sauce for the top because I had three layers and there wasn't enough...also used a smoked gruyere which gave it an extra zing!
