This recipe is a great switch for the regular lasagna. I made this recipe for the in-laws and they liked it very much. It doesn't have the heavy tomato taste like normal lasagnas have. It's very rich from all of the cheeses. Even though I didn't use the Gruyere cheese it was still very rich! If you enjoy the heavy tomato taste of lasagna I would suggest using more tomatoes/sauce/paste!

Made this for my Mother's Day dinner and forgot how wonderful it is. I had previously made this for my birthday a couple of years ago, and it is still a great lasagna! What really makes it stand out is the cream cheese! Next time I made this, I would like to try using low fat cheeses - just so I don't feel so guilty about eating it!
Great dish - an indulgent dish!

I liked this lasagna and it was really rich with all the different cheeses, but after all is said and done, I haven't made it again because of how much work it took and how I had to spend a lot of money buying all the stuff for it.

THIS WAS WONDERFUL! I actually used Prego sauce with mushrooms because I ran out of time. I also used 1 lb. spicy sausage and 1/2 lb. ground chuck. This was the BEST lasagna ever and it is my new FAVORITE ! Thank you, Paula !

Absolutely excellent! However, I did "play" with the cheese selections.
