I liked the lasagna but thought it was too much cheese for my liking. I used a jar of spaghetti sauce and felt it wasn't enough because it was a little dry. If I make it again, I would definitely go by her recipe for the sauce and cut back on the cheese.

My own lasagna recipe is well-loved in my family, but when I used Paula's recipe the cheers were much louder. I did use 1/2 Italian sausage and 1/2 ground chuck. I also added mushrooms and black olives because these are favored in the family. I did not find it time-consuming or too salty like some of the reviews have mentioned. So, from now on I have uprated my own recipe to this one!

The husband loved it and refused to let me give any left-overs to the family!

I made this after my brother-in-law raved about the lasagna he had at the actual restaurant. I may be more accustomed to traditional Italian lasagna so this wasn't a favorite. The Gruyere and Swiss added an odd aftertaste and the ground beef didn't add any extra flavor. It was also very watery once cooked and sliced; I'm not sure if the diced tomatoes released excess water or if it's from the cheese melting. I did like the cream cheese in the recipe, though, it added a rich flavor and texture. In the end, probably not a make again, but worth trying if you like cheese.

First time ever making homemade lasagna and I admit I used store bought sauce. But this is the best lasagna I've ever had in my life!

Made this for tonight's dinner...YUMMO. Nextime, however, I will cut back on the salt, just a tad. My husband and I are looking forward to eating more tomorrow, lasagna always tastes better the next day after the flavors have mellowed together a little more =

Oh. My. GOSH! This was amazing. Best lasagna I've ever had; even beat the lasagna my husband and I ate on our honeymoon in Italy!! The Gruyere cheese is expensive (about $7.35 for a small package but totally worth it. The flavor was to die for! Another great recipe from Lady and Sons, THANKS PAULA! :-
