    A tablespoon of sugar almost overpowers the other flavours. add a sprinkle of hot sauce perks this right up

    This recipe was very easy and true to form (although I did double the okra. It was fast and easy and both my 11 year old and 3 year old gobbled it up!

    This Okra and Tomatoes recipe has a great taste and worth the try. Those of us that are vegetarian, use the soy bacon, it is just as good.

    I prepared this for Christmas; my husband and mother raved about this; it is so full of flavor and texture. I used the frozen seasoning mix(celery, bell peppers, onion. This is a superb recipe....thanks!

    as a kid. I went a whole summer where this was the only thing I would eat. Only I at it with torn up white bread sopping up the tomato juice. That is just the way my mom ate it when she was a kid and as mine do now! YUM!

    When I was a child. We would have okra and tomatoes served over dark cheese toast. I have looked and ask everyone if they remembered it. You sure brought pleasure to my face!! Thank you stright from my heart!!
