Well, here's the deal. I don't normally care for okra (other than fried, BUT...I decided to try tis recipe for Okra and Tomatoes. I LOVE OKRA NOW! This was one of the most satisfying vegetable sides I have ever eaten, let alone fixed. It completely overshadowed the main course! What a fabulous taste treat with the layering of flavors. A perfect "10" in my book!

I am not a okra fan but my husband loves it. After seeing Paula prepare the okra this way I decided I would give it a try, especially since everything I make from her recipes turns out so yummy. WOW-I am hooked on this okra dish now, we love it. And being a southern girl and cook myself, I also prepare this side dish with grits and cajun salmon.

This dish is not only very tasty, it is also low cal. It tastes like it has a million calories. This recipe makes your kitchen smell heavenly while it is simmering. This is one of the easiest dishes I have prepared. This is also the first time that I have ever tried okra and tomatoes together. I don't know why I waited so long. I will be using this recipe as long as I have fresh okra.

Very tasty. Am watching the calories so I substituted turkey "bacon" for the real thing and used stevia instead of sugar. Turned out great. Can only imagine how nice it would be made with pork bacon... but it was just fine with the substitutions.

I have only just started cooking with tomatoes. I didn't think I would like the tomato part of this and had planned to pick around and just eat the okra. I was so wrong. I loved this. This would be great served over rice!

I really liked this recipe. It reminds me of Gullah Stew I had once a long time ago. This, to me, is a true Southern dish for anytime. (It is really good cold...LOL
