This is the easiest cobbler recipe I have ever come across. That is why I tried it. With Paula Deen making it, you knew it had to be great! I have prepared this several times and get rave reviews. I also used this batter with a can of cherry pie filling, making it exactly the same way. Outstanding also!! No more pie crust for me and my family..

I had this recipe many years ago and my daughter wanted it for every family gathering. It is simply the best and simply the easiest cobbler to make. I unfortunately lost the recipe and am so happy to have it again.

My 13x9 pan was otherwise occupied, so I used a deep-dish baking bowl. It smelled so yummy coming out of the oven and I could barely stand the wait while it cooked! Thanks for a great recipe!

I had a similar recipe at one time and lost it. This was delicious, easy and perfect for a hot summer after dinner treat. Thanks for all you have done to improve my cooking and the joy I receive watching you.

I grew up eating this very recipe for peach cobbler made by my great grandmother, grandmother and mother. It is so rich and tasty, and yet easy to make. Best served right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I have, in a pinch, used canned cherry pie filling, canned pears, as well as peaches. This is an oldy and a goody!!
