I love most of Paula's recipes and her but this one was NOT good. I made it 2 times in one day and it flopped both times. The crust didn't rise and I had to continue baking 20min longer than recipe states. Oven temp is fine for all other recipes and self rising flour was brand new. I ckd everything trying to figure out why it was so bad. Not like her!!!

Fantastic!! I used fresh peaches and 1/2 white and brown sugar. I also added vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg to the peaches and only spooned on 3/4 of syrup. Best ever!

This is a terrific dessert - it tastes like mom/granma's. I think you could use at least a cup more peaches - maybe two cups more. I used fresh peaches and 3/4 cups brown sugar for the syrup. Also I did not add all of the syrup - I used about 3/4 of a cup on the top. I used a smaller glass baking dish - and baked it a little longer than indicated because it was a little doughy when I first checked it. If you are using canned peaches I think you could use even less sugar. Also I put a pinch of salt in the peaches. My dinner guest asked for seconds!

I followed this recipe exactly and the bottom was doughey and never raised to the top. Not a light and fluffy cobbler.

I fixed this cobbler precisely to the directions using canned peaches and it was doughey and very wet. There weren't enough peaches for a 13x9 pan and this recipe is awful!

Love this cobbler! Just made it tonight for the first time and my husband thought it was great. Only thing I might do next time is reduce the amount of sugar and butter.

not a big fan of canned anything, yuck but had to can my own peaches this summer as I picked them all before the big huricane so I happen to have some. very rich and sweet. very very easy, my 14 year old made this delicious
The cake topping is delicious but would much prefer the fresh peaches, or at least cut way back on the sugar.

I have shared this recipe with everyone in my office and we all LOVE it. I substituted apple pie filing for the peaches and my husband asks for this every other week. It takes him that long to finish it. It is as if he wants it always available. Thank you so much Paula, this is definitely a keeper.

I would consider this more of a peach buckle than a cobbler as it has the batter topping. Way too much butter and sugar for my liking.
