That was the cheer at our table yesterday for New Year's Day lunch! This was a delicious and EASY recipe. I love the liquid smoke. Now I know how all the BBQ restaurants make their meat so tasty! That has to be the secret! I'd never used the liquid smoke before (it's by ketchups and sauces in the grocery store and I will definitley use it again. Salt and seasonings were fine to me. Thanks, Paula! Awesome!

I had never made a Boston Butt Roast, but I tried this recipe and everyone loved it. It was so great that I'm going to make it again.

This cut of meat is unbelieveably delicious and the only cut one should use for barbeque pork recipes. It's very fatty, therefore the juice from the meat is wonderful. I used to put this in the crock pot, but cooking it in the oven slowly surpasses that. Have it with sauerkraut, potatoes and warm bread. Ymmmmm. UNBELIEVEABLE. This is a great comfort food recipe.

The liquid smoke makes all the difference--just like you cooked it slow over the coals all day. I would reduce the heat to 300 about an hour longer for a pulled pork consistency. Or heck, cook it slow over the coals all day and omit the liquid smoke!

This is the easiest recipe for pulled pork. Other reviews are saying too much salt. 4 Tbls. and 2 Tbls. of seasoned salted in the rub is no problem. Will be making this often. Soooooooo, good !
