My husband brought home this cut of meat during a freak ice storm run to the store.... I had never cooked with this cut before and found this recipe in a search online. Boy! What a wonderful surprise with how easy and melt in your mouth delicious this roast recipe turned out to be! We were lucky enough to have all the ingredients on hand at the time and now I'm making it again b/c we want to! Probably not the healthiest but great comfort food on a cold night! We didn't change a thing with the recipe, served with roasted potatoes and carrots.

Wow. I have never rated anything before. But I just had to let others know that this was soooooo wonderful. My husband gave it the highest rating ever for one of my meals (I have him rate my meals. It tasted like the pork we get at our favorite BBQ restaurant...even better (hubby said. I did cook it at a lower temperature than suggested for longer.

I've prepared this roast for my family three times, and it is now one of my "go to" recipes. It is flavorful, tender, moist, and pretty darn easy to prepare. I recommend this roast to everyone.

I made this and used it for pulled pork sandwiches. It was so good I had to take it to work and share. I had compliments like this is the best pulled pork I've ever had. The bad news is they keep asking me to make it again and again. That's ok, it's easy.

    Thanks Paula

I never cooked a pork roast so tender and flavorfull until this recipe. THANK YOU!!! My family just loved it and I had no leftover. One recipe I won't get away with not making it again. It was so easy and not much tending to so I could tend to the babies.
