This macaroni and cheese was fantastic. I did let the macaroni cool a bit before adding the eggs. The closest to my Grandmother's recipe and very yummy!

Very Good & very easy - no cheese sauce to make! Best the first time around, not as good re-heated.

It was a good base to expand upon. I thought the recipe lacked spice, so I added salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and a bit of nutmeg to the egg mixture. I also can see where some people may have an issue with eggs scrambling. I had slight scrambled eggs even though I cooled down my mac & cheese mixture prior to adding the eggs, milk, and sour cream. Doesn't seem like this recipe was tested thoroughly prior to being posted.

I am a southern lady, born and still live in Louisiana. Our Sunday dinner consisted of fried chicken and macaroni and cheese(not the boxed kind either I thought I had the best recipe until I watched your show 'Paula's party'. Tried it and loved it. It aint Sunday, it's Friday and guess what's for supper, had to have it. The only one that surpasses this one is the slow cooker one, that one is sooooooooo good you gotta wait for Sunday.

I have made this over and over again and this is one of my family's favorites. Simple to make and full of flavor. You go Paula!

It kinda had the scramble egg mixture people talked about. I waited quite awhile before adding the eggs. I added the eggs last. Maybe I should have mixed them with the milk and sour cream first????

At any rate, my husband liked it, but I did not. I can't stand eggs in the first place.

    Still love ya Paula!
