I've tried many a recipe for Macaroni and Cheese, but I will stick to the one I like best. That one comes from a magazine my mother subscribes to.

I made this recipe twice. The first time, I did not have the scrambled egg problem, and instead I just didn't find it cheesy enough. The second time I made it, I definitely felt like I was eating a mac and cheese omelet.

The recipe I will continue preparing uses a bechemel which becomes a creamy cheese sauce containing cheddar and cream cheeses. The cooked pasta goes into the sauce and the whole thing bakes for fifteen minutes.

I've tried and tried to make good macaroni and cheese and I've finally found a keeper! This recipe is excellent, cheesy, moist - one that people won't ever tire of. Thanks, Paula!

For those who had curdled/scrambled eggs it's because you didn't temper your eggs first. Before adding eggs to the hot macaroni add a few pieces to eggs. Stir and add more...until the wet ingrediants become hot. Do slow or you'll have scrambled eggs and macaroni!

My family are mac and cheese snobs. I have tried every recipe in the world until I came across this one. It is now the ONLY recipe I use to make mac and cheese. Everytime I have made if for friends, they rave about how good it is and ask for the recipe. Yet another GREAT recipe from the wonderful Paula Deen!

I was disapointed in this recipe. We, my fiance and I, both thought it just wasn't creamy enough. Don't get me wrong...it was still good. We both felt that it just needed a little bit more creamier taste. Other than that...you are great Paula!!!

Allergy season is in full swing here in Georgia and I have not had much of an appetite. I found this recipe on Foodnetwork.com and since I love all of Paula's recipes thought I would try this one. AWESOME Mac & Cheese. I like the texture, its not creamy so if that is what you want try another recipe. Mine looked just like the one in the picture
