I don't understand the reviews that think this mac and cheese dish wasn't good! We thought it was yummy, yummy. Tasted like the ole south cheesy mac. I'll make it again.

This is an excellent and easy mac and cheese to make. I like to add a little garlic powder and Emril's Bayou Blast to kick it up a notch.

Kids (and adultslove this recipe because it's got simple ingredients. I spiced it up with a mix of diiferent cheeses like apple smoked cheddar and gruyere. Simply deliciuos.

I enjoyed this recipe. I don't like the macaroni and cheese that comes in a box because I don't like the gooey cheesy sauce. This recipe was more like a souffle. The recipe did lack a bit of flavor so I ended up topping mine off with some pasta sauce.

I love macaroni and cheese. However, like many other reviewers, I found this to be very dry and curdly. It had a good flavor but it was not creamy as I had expected it to be.

It wasn't very creamy.... turned out kind of curdy, although it had good flavor. I used mini penne pasta noodles instead of elbow macaroni, because that's all I had in the house at the time. I plan to try it again with the elbow mac to see if that makes a difference. The kids loved it!
