I am not a huge fan of soup (especially chicken noodle but this was screamin' good! The only changes I made were: using regular sherry instead of cooking sherry, dried rosemary crushed between my fingers and half and half instead of heavy cream. Oh, I also added diced parsnips because I love them. Highly recommended!

We were all burned out on rich food after the holidays and my sister had come down with a cold. I made this soup and we had it for lunch, not only did we truly enjoy the warmth and comforting feelings of homemade soup. but by that evening my sister was feeling much better and back to herself the next day. I did choose to use chicken breasts instead of the whole chicken and omitted the sherry and rosemary. I froze 2 servings in individual containers and took them for lunch a month later, the soup was as good then.

I didn't really sue this recipe entirely, but I borrowed the ideas for spices and their amounts. The lemon pepper is soooo good in it!!

This is the best Chicken Noodle soup I have ever tasted. It even gets better on Day 2! Don't even question it... this is the recipe if you are looking for an incredible chicken soup.

With all of the spectacular reviews, I thought this soup would be out of this world. Instead it was just ok. Although I used the cream, sherry and parmesan cheese, my husband and I thought the soup was bland. My husband suggested it may be better on the second day, after the flavors have had a chance to blend. Don't think I'll rush to make this one again.

I make chicken noodle soup about once a week for my kids. This was the best recipe ever! I used a packet of sazon seasoning and added about twice as many noodles since that is what my kids love the most. Excellent!!

This is such a good and wholesome meal. Recipe makes about 8 servings. My husband and I enjoyed the leftovers. I loved all the big chucky veggies and the chicken..so much better than condensed!
