Delish! Before addind the parm and cream, I took out 1/2 for my son with a dairy allergy. He loved it! The 1/2 with parm and cream was really lovely and we will be adding this to our "keeper" list.

This is great chicken soup and very easy. My family requests it all year long. I added red chili flakes, coconut milk instead of cream and home made croutons.

I was VERY disappointed with this soup...I LOVE soup but the flavor was absolutely aweful. It called for so many good ingredients, however, cream, mushrooms and sherry did NOT add a good flavor in this chicken soup...it was not a delicious broth. I could not even give it away it was so bad...not happy about all the time, money and not to mention waste :( Paula, what happened????

Made this for my girlfriend while she was sick and it worked! Best chicken noodle soup we've ever had! Used 2% milk instead of cream and it was sooo good!

I've made it twice. The last time I put less cream in it, but I think it was better with the amount in the recipe. This is just delicious. More like a stew.

Beware of the Heavy Cream. I am quite the Foodie; I use oven roasted chickens, strip off the meat and cook the carcasses with vegatables for a couple of hours. The addition of the cream and sherry to my stock was a nonplus (confounding. The cream detracted (was even kinda grossfrom the savoriness and the sherry [I used just a touch of sweet sherry] was a wrong turn also. Since this recipe had nothing else new to offer I definitely wont be using it again. I am really surprised that so many reviews could be wrong but the soup would really be best without the cream and sherry - just go old school. Sort by rating and go to the last page and you will see I am not alone on this. Ya'll

This is, by far, the most delicious and satisfying chicken noodle soup! YUM!! I used light cream and about 1/2 - 3/4 of the amount recommended and it gave it a nice richness without being too heavy. The parm adds a great taste and I definitely recommend using it. I am not a fan of Sherry so I skipped that and I preferred using Thyme instead of Rosemary. I've made this recipe twice and it was off the charts -- SCRUMPTIOUS!! Thanks, Paula:
