I made this salad for a family get together and got great reviews. I made a few modifications. I omitted the mushrooms and wax beans. I used garbanzo beans instead. The seasoning and dressing were perfect-not bland. I let it sit for about 3 hours before serving.

I just discovered Greek Seasoning and was really excited to find a salad which used it. It is 'Cavender's Greek Seasoning'. I get mine at Wal-Mart for about $2 - $3 for 8 ounces. It rocks!!! I use it on garden salads, vegetables, etc. Hope this those having trouble with the Greek Seasoning!

My G-Ma had me search the web high and low for this seasoning to this salad. Since I finally found it and I noticed quite a few others here were having the same issue I thought I qwould help out and post my findings. This I found on another recipe of hers where she used the Greek Seasoning. Enjoy the fruits of my labor:
    Greek Seasoning:

    2 teaspoons dried oregano
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons onion powder
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

I can't find a recipe for Greek Seasonings. Usually Paula includes the recipes for the special seasonings she uses, but not this time. Can anyone offer some suggestions?

This is a quick and tasty way to get your veggies. My two year old LOVES beans and loves this salad warm or cold. I use whatever I have in the pantry. I used garbanzo beans because I didn't have kidney and added beets because we love them.

Just an obvious point - This is only a cheap dish if you already have all of the spices necessary to make a "Greek Seasoning." If not, you'll spend a fortune getting all of the spices necessary.

This is a very tasty dish but I don't really care for my beans to be cold so I heated mine up. However, my husband loves it cold! Great as a side dish, meal or snack. Thanks Paula!

I am not a 3 bean salad fan. Usually, they don't have enough UMFFF. This one does and is so good and refreshing for a summer bbq or just a weeknight meal. Very versatile.

This recipe was great! I followed it to the letter and even my husband who refuses to waste time on sides had seconds. I would definitely make this again!
