I have made this 3 times during holiday season for get together and potluck. Everyone loved it. The last time I made it I used pepper jack cheese instead of mozzarella since it never got the zip I wanted even after using more hot sauce than stated. It's a keeper for my go-to recipes

I love this recipe, but I also add in a couple of extra dashes of worchestershire sauce and hot sauce, as well as one or two minced cloves of fresh garlic and a little fresh lemon zest to brighten it up. Also, I always use Helmann's Real (as in whole fat Mayonnaise because a friend who is a professional chef once told me that it's the best store bought mayonnaise that can stand up to the oven's heat without breaking down (whatever that means! haha. It's always a hit!

I made this to go along with Paula's cheese straws. The combination is out of this world. When I first tasted this dip, it was heaven lol. My husband loved it too, as well as our guests. The teen age boy who was here said "No thanks, I don't like artichokes." But later, after hearing people talk about this dip, he decided to try it. He LOVED it! He kept going back for more! This recipe is a huge success! Thanks Paula!!! You never let me down!
