I had to come up with an appetizer for my sister-in-law's BBQ and this was perfect! It was really easy to make, and everyone absolutely loved it. My husband kind of gave a frowny face when he realized there was no spinach in it, but was later raving about it. I doubled the recipe and it worked perfect. The next day, I mixed the leftovers with tuna and penne pasta and made a casserole out of it. My husband loved that, but I thought it was a little rich. Next time, I'll add chicken, spinach and pasta to it, but I think it needed a little more "non-dip" stuff in it. Awesome recipe! A keeper!

EVERYONE LOVED THIS DIP. MY DAUGHTER PREPARED IT, AND WE WILL DEFINITELY MAKE IT AGAIN, IT WAS VERY EASY TO PREPARE SHE DID SUBSTITUTE THE SOFT CREAM CHEESE FOR THE BLOCK TYPE, BUT THE RESULTS WERE VERY DELICIOUS.

This was super easy to make and tastes good but very oily...definitely only need 1 cup of mayo. I actually poured & spooned out the oil before serving.

A lot of people on here are saying that the recipe is misprinted and should have 2 cups of mayo instead of one. That is NOT true. One cup is the correct amount. It is listed with just one cup on Paula Deen's own website.
