Ingredients

  • 1 (17.6-ounce) package brownie mix with walnuts
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 3 (6-ounce) candy bars with almonds and toffee chips (recommended: Symphony brand)

Directions

Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.

Line a 13 by 9-inch cake pan with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil cooking spray. Spoon in half of the brownie batter and smooth with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place the candy bars side by side on top of the batter. Cover with the remaining batter.

Bake according to package directions. Let cool completely, then lift from the pan using the edges of the foil. This makes it easy to cut the brownies into squares.

Being a mother of two young boys I have found it hard to cook/bake like I use to before children. This recipe is so easy and... it makes normal box brownies to die for. All my friends and family gobbled them down. Read more

    Nothing special

Made these for a party and won't make that mistake again. I left with most of the pan intact and ended up throwing them away... because no one in my house was interested in eating them. Maybe we just don't have sweet tooths?Read more

I made these for a "snow" weekend at home...they are great. Very easy to make, just be sure to get the FAMILY SIZE BROWNIES.... Most brownie mixes are for 8x8 pans not 9x13. I will definitely make again!Read more

2 boxes of brownie mix, 45 minutes at 350F .....PERFECT!! I took a small white plate, drizzled some raspberry sauce and some... caramel sauce in a spiral design then added a 4"x4" square of these delicious brownies and topped it with espresso chip ice cream with fresh raspberries and a dollop of whipped cream....Absolutely amazing! Buon appetito!Read more
