I thought this recipe sounded great but it needs to bake much longer than indicated (I tried "rebaking" after completely cooled but could not salvage the recipe. Also, I was unable to find 6-ounce bars but found 8-ounce bars.

These are the best brownies I have ever made. Visiting my daughter for the holidays, and we laughed and laughed because we could not go by the pan of brownies without taking some. Easy recipe and it'll be a hit with everyone who is a true chocolate lover. Thanks Paula, this is number one to me.

I took this recipe with me on our vacation to our cabin in Gatlinburg,TN in October. I made one batch and they were gone that night. My family LOVES them. I have since made many batches since and also for school parties for my daughters. They are always a hit but I keep the recipe a "secret" LOL

This recipe is out of this world. I have made these brownies a total of 8 times in two weeks---for my family, work and friends and everyone loves them soooo much. they are so easy to make and taste absolutely wonderful. Even the "health nut" people i know can stop eating them. I love to cook--but sometimes having something easy is great. Thanks Paula for this wonderful recipe.

These were so unbelievable. You just can't stop yourself from eating another, and they couldn't be any easier to make. We made a big batch for my 1st grader to give the teacher for her birthday. She sent me an email to tell me they were the best brownies she had ever eaten and the tin was empty before nightfall at her house. After sending her the recipe she later admitted that she has made a couple of times already and it's only been 2 weeks!! I will definitely keep this recipe around just incase we need to "bribe" a teacher in our high school years!

These brownies were so gooey and were so popular with my guests. I made the brownie recipe from scratch and incorporated hershey's bars with almonds. They were delicious and so good out of the oven with vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend this recipe.

I saw Paula make these a few weeks ago on her show. When she pulled them out of the oven she said, "Out jumps the Devil!" and no lie... these things are so good they are sinful!
I used 2 boxes of Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge brownie mix, so my brownies were extra thick and sooooo good! I popped the leftovers in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and they tasted like they were fresh from the oven again.
So easy and so delicious. Took almost no time at all. The toffee gives that chewy brownie a nice buttery crunch. I recommend cutting these into small squares because they are so rich.
Thanks, Paula!

Anything this good has to be illegal - direct quote from one of the police officer's where I work. First time I made two batches of the brownies for work and within 1 hour the officers ate every last one. I get asked every week "where's the brownies?" My family enjoys them also.

This is the best brownie recipe I've EVER made!!! I used the Symphony candy bars and to be even MORE sinful, I drizzled the top with melted caramel. I almost put marshmallows on top with the caramel but thought it might be too much. I ate mine with a scoop of vanilla ice cream a-la-mode style! My God, I'm afraid to get on the scale tomorrow.
