I have made these brownies numerous times already. They are a hit where ever I bring them. I have used 3 of the same kind of candy bar and have also switched it up by using 3 different types of candy bars (Mr. Goodbar, Dark Chocolate, and Symphony, etc. all in the same pan so there is a variety within the pan. Rave reviews from all. You have to try these.

USE TWO PACKAGES OF BROWNIE MIX. ONE ON BOTTOM AND ONE ON TOP IN 13X9 FOILED LINED PAN. COOK LONGER THAN DIRECTIONS. I ALSO USED 4 SYMPHONY BARS BECAUSE THEY FIT PERFECTLY. YUM! BEST BROWNIES YOU WILL EVER TASTE. THANKS PAULA!

I have renamed these the "crack" brownies because I thought it was so funny and ironic that 3 different people at 3 different times all asked if I put crack in these brownies or something because they were so good. They are pretty darn good and sooo easy.

My husband and I are not brownie lovers. However, when I saw Paula make this recipe, I knew I had to try it. Well, let me tell you, once you make these you will never, ever make brownies any other way. We absolutely love these. OMG THEY ARE TO DIE FOR !!!!!!!!!!

Back away from these brownies if you are even considering a diet! These brownies are so sinfully rich, one bite is all you need- the probelm is you have one bite, then go back for another until you realize you have eaten a whole row in no time! Wow- sure to satisfy the sweet tooth in everyone! Thanks Paula for an easy, rich tasty treat!

I made these brownies twice in one week for my coworkers. For the first batch, I used chocolate bars with caramel in the middle. I would suggest putting these in the fridge after they've cooled from the oven, just so they can set up a little. For the second batch, I used a toffee candy bar and the brownies were gone in minutes. When I got back to my desk, the empty container was sitting on my chair with a sticky note that said "Please refill for Friday". I'm definitely making these much, much more in the future.

my husband is eats very healthy but he has a weakness for brownies so i made these for a superbowl party last week and they were a big hit! there were none left over and my husband requested them again this weekend. the first time i made the brownies, i used to two packages using the "fudgy" receipe but i thought it was too gooey. i would suggest using two packs of brownie mix but make one package with the "fudgy" ingredients and one with the "cakey" version of ingredients (basically the cakey version takes more water. i thought this gave the brownies the perfect thickness and moistness. i love these brownies and they'll be a permanent staple at our house from now on.

I made these brownies for Super Bowl and it was a big hit. I took the few leftovers to work and they said it was the best brownies they ever had. Little did they know, it was so easy to make.

I made these last week, and they definitely were an improvement to a store bought box brownie mix! I did enjoy them, but come on people.....they are still no comparison to a homemade brownie recipe. For the most amazing brownies (although they are certainly not quick and easy like this one, try Barefoot Contessa's "Outrageous Brownies". I do agree with other comments that you need to use a smaller pan than a 13x9x2.....the brownies would be too thin. I used an 8x11 pyrex and they worked fine, and I'm sure a 9x9 would be even thicker, if you like them that way.

Oh my gosh! My hubby made these last night and they are almost gone! These are SO DELICIOUS!! If you want to impress your friends... use this recipe! We used a Duncan Hines dark chocolate brownie mix and the candy bars Paula suggested. SO GOOD!! Thanks Paula! Yummy goodies as usual! :
