Made these last night. I used Hershey Skor bars. Broke them up in small sections. I think I used 4 of them (ate one on the way home from the store. Probably could have used the 5th one. I also included the chopped walnuts. This recipe has TRULY ruined me and my family for regular brownies. I can never go back.

WOW this blew my family away! I will never make plain brownies again! I plan to try different candy bars, however I'm not sure this recipe can be topped!

I made these brownies to share but my family would not let me give them out. They said they were too good. So simple and just perfect!

I made this recipe at my birthday party recently for everyone and I only made one batch and to bad i did because they were gone instantly! These were the best brownies i have ever made. Next time I'll have to make two or more batches. Thank you Paula! ^^

Everyone can't get enough of these brownies. I don't bake much but I made these brownies for my co workers and they went crazy. At one point I had to hide some for the people who come in later. Then they constantly begged me to make them again. I made them for a retirement party and now I'm known as the brownie lady throughout the office. I've also made them for my family and they love them too. Everyone is constantily asking me to write down the recipe for them but it is sooo easy that they can remember it. I have never seen people go so crazy for brownies before but EVERYONE LOVES THEM.
Thank you for the recipe Paula. It is a real winner.

I got bored just making the brownies like always so I tried it out as a Halloween gift for choir and again for my history class and they totally loved it :
Made them again for Thanksgiving and everyone kept eating them and wanted to know what the recipe was. It was funny since its so easy to make and all I had to write down for them was to make the brownie mix, put the chocolate bars in the middle and bake :P

I could not believe how easy to make this recipe was. I have never made brownies in my life, but watched how Paula made this one so easy I gave it a try. My husband said " best brownies ever ". I've shared this with my coworkers and same thing. I have given your recipe to at least 10 more people at work! I have to make this again for Thanskgiving.. (husband request!

When I watched Paula make this on the show I never thought I'd make them, they just seemed TOO rich! Well I had my little sister-in-laws over for a spend the night party and little girls LOVE chocolate so I looked this recipe up and thought they would get a kick out of the chocolate bars in the middle. I didn't take the advice of letting them "cool completely" and I thought they were so-so the night we made them while they were still warm. HOWEVER, the next morning I took a nibble and was blown away at the difference. The toffee is too obvious when they are warm, but when they've cooled the flavors all mingle beautifully. SO I gave the last two squares to my chocoholic mom and she said they were just "sinfully good" and she doesn't even watch Paula, that phrase just perfectly describes these brownies whether you know her or not! haha. YUMMMY!!
