I am not a cook, not even a little, and 2 years ago I agreed to host Xmas dinner for my husband's family, 20+ people. I made... these as appetizers and they were fantastic. had to make 3 batches to keep up with the demand. They have been requested each year. Thanks Paula!Read more

    Tasty and popular

I made these for our family's Christmas party and they were gone 5 minutes after coming out of the oven! They taste like... mini bruschettas. I bought two boxes of shells per other reviews and was able to fill all the shells with one can of diced tomatoes. I just mixed up a little more of the mayo/mozzarella for the top and that easily covered the extras. Next time I will try something different on the top, as this tasted a little heavy on the mayo and light on the cheese. Otherwise - fantastic, and very easy. Read more

    Delicious!!!

I made this appetizer for my family on Thanksgiving, they all LOVED it! They were upset that I didn't have the ingredients to... make more! I was surprised how many this made. It said it only needed 1 package of phyllo shells but i bought 2 (just incase) and i'm glad I did because this filled 20 shells! The only thing I did different was add more bacon (4 strips all together) and I used real minced garlic (just a tiny bit) and added more cheese to the top about 2 min. before it was done in the oven. But this is soo good. My family and friends have demanded that I make it for every holiday and get together. Thanks Paula!!Read more

    WORTH THE PREP TIME!

Made this for a "girls night in" of my own. It was the hit of the party! Everyone left with a copy of the recipe. It does... take a little time to put them all together... but the result is worth it. Highly recommend this recipe. I did skip the bacon for my vegetarian pals but it didn't make a bit of difference to my carnivore buddies!Read more
