Wonderful!!! Had them at a party. I want to make them, but have a question on the phyllo cups. They come frozen, but are fully baked. Can I put them in the oven as indicated on the recipe?

Made these for the first time and everyone aged 20-83 loved them! The crunch and flavor is wonderful. Very easy and they look pretty on the plate. The only complaint is that I didn't make more! Will double the recipe next time to keep up with the demand. [I didn't have fresh basil so I used dry and it worked].

I was really excited to try these after reading all of the rave reviews, but really found it a bit blah and tasted a but too much like mayo and bacon. I might omit the mayo and skip the bacon next time and sprinkle the cheese with bread crumbs instead.

    Thanks for the wonderful recipe,again..!
I think that is funny to the person who didnt read it right and messed up the whole recipe.
I think if you get that far into a recipe and think its too much salt then you should read it again. dont like to see that 1 star when it is not needed.
well I would recommend this recipe to anyone.

These little canapes are so simple to make and delicious. I made them vegetarian (without the bacon bits and they were good, but I've had them with bacon and they are extremely good with it! Great for potlucks and parties- I ask my friend to make them all the time.

To the anonymous person who commented that the recipe was wrong for calling for a cup of salt - I'm afraid you misread it. The recipe calls for 1/2 teaspoon of the "Lady's House Seasoning," and then proceeds to give a recipe for the seasoning. THAT is what needs a cup of salt, along with pepper and garlic powder. The seasoning recipe is meant to produce an entire container of seasoning which should last MANY recipes. Read more carefully next time and you will have better luck. This is a WONDERFUL recipe that is a family and party favorite.

There is no way this recipe could be correct with 1 cup of salt! It turned out a diaster and shame on whoever made typed the ingredients up. These were suppose to be for a party I was throwing needless to say I had to throw them all way, all you could taste was salt.
