I love Paula's recipes, but this one calls for 1 cup of mayo. I even used the light mayo, and the pie didn't taste right. I was an easy recipe (just a pain to drain the tomatoes. I will make it again, but decrease the mayo maybe by 3/4 C.

We never have a family gathering anymore without at least one Paula Deen recipe, but I think this one takes top honors. Even my picky son loved it.

This was wonderful! I used muenster only and didn't peel the tomatoes. It was rich, sweet, creamy, onion-y, basil-y. Who could ask for more?

I've been a fan of Paula's incredible recipes for some time, and this one is definitely in the number one slot. You won't find a more flavorful, savory, mouth-watering & delectable recipe for your abundance of summer tomatoes. Vine-ripened summer tomatoes are essential...don't even think of making this in the winter. The first time I made this my picky family devoured the entire dish in one sitting!

My family raved over this pie the first time I made it. My step son asked me to make it for him to take when he was a houseguest at his friend's home. It was a big hit there too. I serve with sauteed chicken and chinese salad for an easy delicious dinner.
