I absolutely HATE hard boiling eggs and peeling them. It is so tedious and obnoxious to me--maybe it's just me, but it doesn't not come easy. I even clogged my sink drain and had to become a "plumber" for the morning to get those darn egg shells out!

Anyways, as much as I hate the prep work for the eggs, it is worth it because this recipe is so kick-@ss! Everyone loves it...the relish adds something extra. Can't wait to tailgate at the RU game tomorrow!

Nice and tasty!! Perfect hard boiled eggs using low pressure setting on pressure cooker for 6 minutes make this easy. Not my Gramma's but still dern good. I also did the cayenne pepper thing.

Good! Doesn't taste like my grandmother's, but I think she used dill pickles in hers. Note to self: to boil the eggs, start out with eggs covered in cold water by at least 1 inch. Adding a tsp of salt makes the eggs easier to peel. Bring to a boil-rolling boil. Turn heat to low, and simmer for one minute. Turn burner off, and Let stand for 10 minutes.

These are my moms the only difference is she added a pinch, just a pinch of white sugar. The mustard and relish are key!

I don't know why I only make deviled eggs twice a year. Just made some and stuck very close to this recipe but I added a couple table spoons of Alton's Guacamole just for kicks. WOW it added a great flavor. I think next time I will try adding the guacamole and possibly leave the mayo out all together. Delicious! If my husband is lucky I'll save him some for when he gets home from work. :D

Half mayonnaise and half miracle whip allow you to skip the relish and mustard. :

For my family only good dill pickle is used. Not all dill pickles are the same, try to find smaller pickle companies as the flavor maybe more like what grandma used to make. Makes for great eggs.
