    This was fantastic. I made this for my family over New Years and everyone loved it, not a bite left!! They all thought it was restaurant quality! No need to tell them how simple it is to make ;

    Everyone loved this pie. Had to make the chocolate whipped filling twice b/c the cream wouldn't whip. The second time, I whipped the cream by itself and then folded in the chocolate and it worked beautifully. I did omit the whip cream topping on the pie but offered it on the side--it is needed but the pie had so much filling already. Should have used a 10 inch pie. I'll definitely make this one again!

    This pie was a snap to make and was delicious to eat. I made it for one of our desserts this Christmas and it was a hit. I piped the whipped cream on the top and added chocolate shavings as suggested and it looked just beautiful. Everyone thought it was delicious and there was nothing left. If you thought it was too rich, what did you expect? Have a thinner slice but enjoy it. It's a great dessert.

    My daughter made it for a girl scout bake off and it turned out well. It didn't win first place but there wasn't any left over. Definitely very rich, be sure to have a glass of milk ready.

    My chocolate loving husband asked me if I could make this pie every single day ; I used semisweet chocolate chips and it was delicious!

    I avoid recipes that involve folding melted chocolate into whipped cream because I always mess it up. I doubted the filling would actually whip, but it did, and it set up beautifully. I should never have questioned Paula!. I never got to add the layer of whipped cream on top. The pie plate was all but empty by the time I got back in the kitchen. Making it again with chocolate cream- filled cookies for the crust. I also added a scant teaspoon of instant coffee crystals to the ganache layer. Yummy!

    I did a few things differently. I used semi-sweet chocolate instead of bittersweet. I didn't wait overnight in the fridge; kept it in there 2 hours. It came out great. I live alone and could not wait.

    This is truly a truffle in a pie. VERY rich, but really good. I served it for our Christmas dinner dessert and everyone loved it, even the 5 year old! The general comment, was that it was very rich. Next time I am going to try changing the middle to semi-sweet chocolate instead, just to see the difference.

    Tried making the pie and it turned out aweful! I love everything Paula Deen so I was sure this would be great as well. I couldn't get the topping to fluff up. Added more sugar and it turned into a sugar nightmare. It was so runny. None of it formed. Tried eating it out of a bowl, but it was so sweet, that it had to be thrown away.
