What a wonderful recipe!! Just loved it for my leftover turkey! I did change a few things since my husband doesn't like cranberry sauce...instead, I added a half cup of water and added chopped celery and carrots. Also, instead of puffed pastry dough, I had an extra can of Pillsbury cresent rolls on hand and just rolled it out for the lattice pastry top. Worked like a charm! Also added some garlic to the sauce since that's just what I do to everything...yummy comfort food!

I DIDN'T GET TO SEE THE DEMO ON HOW TO DO IT-- I HAVE TO BLAME THE PRODUCERS OR THE CHEF FOR NOT PROVIDING ADEQUATE INFORMATION. END RESULT WAS NOT GOOD.

This is not for those watching their weight, but it was a super yummy way to use up leftovers. Will definitely make again and again.

i made this recipe the day after thanksgiving with the leftover turkey my mom had...and some sweet potatos rather than the squash..figured they were close enough...and it came out really yummy...especially with that crust...but four people who ate some said the same thing..."shoulda left out the cranberries"...it kinda disguises the turkey itself...next time ill serve the cranberries on the side

Let me say that I just love Paula and her recipes. I made this and wasn't pleased with the way it tasted. It was way too sweet for my taste. Maybe next time I will just omit the craberries.

Absolutely delicious. Paula is the best, period. Her beautiful personality flows right on over to her wonderful dishes. It's not just about the food...it's about her presentation of it. All her dishes are great!

I'm not a big fan of cheddar soup, so I used the mushroom substitution. I was so shocked at how subtle the play was between the cream of celery and the cream of mushroom. It was wonderful! The puff pastry added an extra dimension to the taste--much better than regular old pie crust!

Great recipe! It looked as good as it tasted. I would not change it a bit.
