my family really does not like baked potatoes the skin and last part of the potato always winds up being left on the plate so I just made regular boiled potatoes then made the mashed part as in the directions put it all in a casserole dish and baked as instructed it was great nothing left even my 5 yr old granddaughter who says she is full after 3 bites of anything ate 2 helpings the recipe did not say how to do the shrimp I just sauted them in butter and old bay b4 adding to potaotes

Decided to do these for Christmas Dinner, protein was rib roast, so what goes better with beef than potatoes? They were easy to make, but as far as flavor, nothing special. I was hoping the shrimp would give it something extra, but it didn't come through even though I left some whole on top. I feel it needed something extra like chives or ham or even a little bacon. Maybe next time.

After I saw her show yesterday, she and her hubby had me drooling, and I had just bought shrimp to make gumbo and I had everything else, so I made these for dinner but needed a veggie so I roasted a red bell pepper and peeled the blacken skin off and put strips of them on top and after baking them, oh man that was good! I also chopped green onion....my hubby loved them and said to fry bacon up also next time........I loved the creaminess of these also......so many things you can do with the recipe..yummy thanks

Wow! This is sooo yummy! Substituted cream cheese for the sour cream and i added a lil of the melted butter and garlic that i sauted the shrimp in.

It was so good that I'm having trouble deciding who is worthy enough for it. I Weight Watchered it by adding reduced fat anything I could to lower the points value. It was well worth it and just as yummy!
